The SMTP/POP3/IMAP Email Engine for Delphi is a toolkit that provides a simple interface to create Delphi applications that can send, receive and parse email including HTML and MIME Base64 and quoted-printable encoded attachments.
The toolkit supports SMTP & POP3 authentication; SMTP and POP3 SSL/TLS; ISO-8859 and UTF-8 messages. SEE4D includes over 60 functions for SMTP and POP3/IMAP control and dozens of switches to control how email is sent or received.
SEE4D works with all versions of Windows, 32-bit/64-bit C/C++ and is royalty free.
The SMTP/POP3/IMAP Email Engine (SEE) uses Win64 and Win32 DLLs that allow any Borland/Codegear/Embarcadero Delphi program (Delphi 2.0 through Delphi 8.0, and Delphi 2005 through Delphi XE4) to send and receive email over any TCP/IP network (such as the Internet) all from within a Delphi application.
SEE4D can be used to develop Delphi applications running under 32-bitand 64-bit Windows through Windows 8.
SEE4D be used with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Delphi including:
- Borland Delphi (2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0. 6.0 and 7.0)
- Borland Delphi 8 for .NET
- Borland Delphi 2005 & 2006
- Borland Turbo Delphi
- Codegear Delphi 2007
- Embarcadero Delphi 2009 & 2010
- Embarcadero Delphi XE through XE7
Numerous Delphi example programs have been provided.
The library does not depend on support libraries and makes calls to Windows API functions only. The same SEE32.DLL can also be used with supported languages such as Visual Basic, C/C++, .NET, Visual FoxPro, Xbase++, PowerBASIC (PB/CC, PB/DLL, PB/WIN), COBOL and Visual dBASE.
